Selena & Jordan | Bagsby Ranch

Selena & Jordan were married at Bagsby Ranch in Gallatin, Tennessee, just a few short weeks ago, amongst family and friends, who were there to celebrate the two and take in what turned out to be a perfect day. There’s a lot to be said about the day, including just how quaint and lovely the setting was. Bagsby Ranch is a barn venue that creates a mixed atmosphere of both relaxation and elegance. I think that’s sometimes hard to pull off, but they and their great support staff, have managed to create the perfect setting. The time that Selena spent on every detail of planning her wedding showed through during the day. I loved all the details that made the day unique. The vows books, the ring holders & the one-of-a-kind record player that was actually a signature album, were all just spectacular and original. Unique and different are what makes it fun for photographers to capture and keep them creative.

Details and setting aside, Selena & Jordan have great families and friends who were there to make the day move flawlessly and help the day remain fun and easy going. There was a lot of laughter and smiles throughout, and I think that perfectly sums up Selena & Jordan and the people in their lives.

Finally, this was an opportunity to work with some great vendors. Selena worked with Kristie Terrell who is a superb wedding planner who put Selena & Jordan on a path to a great day. I would recommend her to anyone. She didn’t let the bride or groom, or anyone for that manner, break a sweat for a minute and was there to answer and direct everyone when needed. Selena also used Stephanie Brooke for her cake, and it was beautiful to photograph. Lastly, Kaitlyn Webb helped me out by second shooting this wedding. Kaitlyn’s a student I work with at WKU and is on her way to being a great photojournalist. I love it when I can mash two of my favorite things together, teaching and shooting.
