Documentary Weddings
My hope is for my brides and grooms to be able to look back at their wedding images years later and see the real moments. I want them to see the joy and the happiness everyone experienced that day and think back about what a special day it was. And mostly I want them to remember me as somebody who was a helpful presence throughout their day who not only documented the day, but was there to capture the love and caring that their family and friends experienced. Whether they’re in Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Sarasota, Florida, or Nashville, Tennessee, Lexington, Kentucky, or anywhere else in the country I love to shoot a variety of weddings. I love the traditions of weddings, the nontraditional things, and everything else my camera captures throughout the day.
As a St, Petersburg wedding photojournalist, these weddings have taken us from Tampa, Florida, to Chicago, Illinois, to Dayton, Ohio, to Orlando, Florida. I love to travel for weddings and think the ease of it came from all my years covering Florida State and University of Florida football and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
